Today my HR contacted me. She said I am suppose to tender 2 months notice and not 1 month! (enter thunder and lightning....). But but but....my contract states 1 month. HR then relunctantly admit that they are partially at fault for not informing me so they are letting me go at 1 month. But I can tell she 'beh gam guan'. I even have 4 days of leave to clear which leaves me free to go next next Monday. But being the best employee that I am, I have decided to cash 3 days and take 1 day off so my last day is now officially 27 Apr 2012. So faster book me for farewell if you have not done so!
HR is also going help me clear my income tax with IRAS. However, they are holding my April Salary which means I am income-less next month onwards. Boo... On the bright side, I now have 2 items in my to-do list cleared without much effort. How cool is that :)
The latest list is as below.
Divide belongings to ship-to-AUS, ship-back-KL, ship-back-Ipoh, give away
and throw.
Settle financial affairs in Lion City. Open a CTB account.
Transfer money back to KL.
Get out CPF to pay part housing loan
Install a cabinet/book rack to store my mountain of books. Put books into
cabinet.
Decide which book(s) follow me to kangaroo land.
Clean out unwanted clothes in both KL and Ipoh.
Arrange to meet all dear and close.
Attend weddings.
Eat all my favorite food
Complete mosaic art - NEW
Complete scrape book (3 of them) - NEW
Unfortunately I just realize 2 more new items to be cleared, so the list is still as long! (T_T)
